Flash Sport
Last updated: 9 October 2026 · Applies to the Flash Sport mobile app (iOS & Android) and flashsportapp.com
You can use most of Flash Sport without an account and without giving us anything: live scores, statistics, standings, the AI and the predictions game all work as a guest, and your favorites, predictions, credits and settings are stored on your device.
Creating an account changes that, and this policy says exactly what changes. We then store, on our own servers, what the features you actually use require: your e-mail address and phone number for your account, your public @handle and what you post in the social features, a push token if you allow notifications, and anonymous usage events if you accept analytics. If you opt in, we also send you product news by e-mail or message, in your language — and you can stop that at any time, in one click.
We do not sell your data, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.
Ads appear only inside the Games arcade and are served by Google AdMob, which receives technical data such as your IP address and device information to deliver and measure them; scores, predictions and the AI carry no ads. We embed no other advertising or third-party analytics SDK. We do not ask for tracking permission and the ads are not personalised. Declining a consent prompt may limit which ads can be shown; it does not remove them — Ad-free or PRO removes ads from the arcade.
Nothing about you until you create an account or turn something on, outside the advertising described in section 2-bis. Precisely:
We never collect your contacts, your photos, your precise location or your payment details, and we never ask for tracking permission.
To display live scores, statistics, lineups, news and bookmaker odds, the app sends requests to our sports-data backend. These requests contain only the technical information required to answer them (your IP address, the match or competition requested, request time). This data is used to serve the response and for short-term operational caching and abuse prevention. It is not used to build profiles and is not shared with third parties for marketing.
Team crests, player photos and competition logos are loaded from our sports-data provider's image CDN (media.api-sports.io). Standard web-request metadata applies.
Inside the Games tab only, ad requests also leave your device and go to Google AdMob — see section 2-bis for exactly what they contain and how to remove them.
Accounts are hosted by our sign-in provider, Supabase (servers in the EU).
When you ask the AI chat a question, the question and the last messages of that conversation are sent to our AI providers (Anthropic, with OpenAI as a backup) to write the answer. They do not receive your name, email or account identifier. On iPhone and iPad you are asked first; if you decline, the chat answers with the app’s own analysis and nothing is sent to an AI provider.
Subscriptions (Flash Sport PRO, Ad-free) and AI credit packs are processed by Apple App Store / Google Play billing. We never see or store your payment details. Purchase receipts are handled by the store platforms under their own privacy policies.
Purchase status is confirmed through our purchase-management provider, RevenueCat, which receives the store receipt and an anonymous or account identifier — never your payment details.
Bookmaker odds shown in Flash Sport are for information only. Flash Sport is not a bookmaker: the app takes no bets, holds no wagers and pays no winnings. The predictions game is free to play; points have no cash value. Odds-related content is intended for users 18 or older (app rated 17+ on the App Store). If you choose to bet with a licensed operator, please gamble responsibly.
Flash Sport is not directed at children. The App Store age rating is 17+ due to references to gambling odds.
If — and only if — you accept analytics at the consent screen, the app sends anonymous product events to our own server (never to third parties): app opened, account created, prediction made, chatbot used, paywall viewed, purchase completed, subscription cancelled, language changed. Each event carries a random anonymous identifier, your app language, timezone and profile type (visitor / free / trial / pro / ex-pro). Question contents, scores you enter, names and precise locations are never sent. Your e-mail address is stored only if you provide it yourself and consent to communications.
Purpose: understanding which features help, and later sending communications you opted into, in your language. Retention: raw events are kept at most 24 months. Your rights: opt out anytime at the consent screen or notification/e-mail preferences; deleting your account (Settings → Delete account) also erases your CRM profile and all events server-side. Legal basis: consent (GDPR art. 6(1)(a)).
The fan chat, your public @handle, direct messages and your block list are stored on our own server — they cannot work otherwise: other people have to be able to read what you post and find you by your @.
What is stored: your public @handle and display name, the messages you post in a match chat, your direct messages, your friend list and your block list. Each is tied to a random identifier generated by the app, not to your real identity.
Moderation. Messages you post are checked automatically against a list of hateful and abusive terms before publication, and other users can report them. Reports are written to a moderation log (message, reason, and the anonymous identifiers of author and reporter) so that repeated abuse can be acted on. Your block list is private: the person you block is never told, and no one else can see it.
Retention and deletion: match chats are ephemeral and are dropped when the room closes. Handles, friends, blocks and direct messages are kept until you delete your account (Settings → Delete account), which erases them from our server.
Never sent: your e-mail address, your phone number, your contacts, your precise location.
If you allow notifications, your device gives us a push token — an identifier issued by Apple (APNs) or Google (FCM) that lets their servers deliver a message to that device, and to that device only. We store it with your app language, your time-zone offset, the hour you usually open the app, and whether you have a subscription. That is the whole list.
Why each one: the token to reach the device, the language to write in yours, the time-zone and hour so a notification arrives at a reasonable time for you rather than in the middle of your night, and the subscription status so we never advertise a subscription to someone who already pays for it.
The token is sent to Apple or Google to deliver the message — that is what a push notification is. It is not shared with anyone else, and it is never used for advertising.
Turn notifications off at any time in your phone's settings, or per category in the app (Settings → Notifications). Turning them off stops delivery; deleting your account removes the token from our server.
We update this policy whenever what the app collects changes — and it has changed: advertising in the Games arcade, the social features and push notifications each brought their own section. The "Last updated" date at the top and the in-app Legal screen reflect any change before it takes effect.
